Atrium Health Ballpark opened in 2021 as one of the newest stadiums in the Carolina League and the anchor of downtown Kannapolis's transformation from a post-industrial textile town to a modern entertainment destination.
The ballpark is the centerpiece of a $200M+ downtown revitalization effort. The surrounding development includes a hotel, apartments, restaurants, and a new public plaza — all built around the 4,700-seat stadium.
