Architecture & History

FredNats Ballpark opened in 2022 as one of the newest stadiums in the Carolina League. Built to current professional standards on the outskirts of historic Fredericksburg, it replaced the aging Salem-based arrangement and established a permanent Fredericksburg baseball presence.

Fredericksburg has four Civil War battle sites within the city limits. The National Park visitor center is 10 minutes from the ballpark — make a full day of it.

I-95 exits are within 2 miles of FredNats Ballpark. Ample parking in adjacent lots. The VRE commuter rail Fredericksburg station is walkable from the stadium on train-running days.
