Tulsa, OKEst. 20107,833 seatsAA

ONEOK Field opened in 2010 in downtown Tulsa — the city that oil built, where Art Deco towers from the 1920s boom still define the skyline, and where the Greenwood District (Black Wall Street) was destroyed in the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The Drillers are named for the petroleum industry.

Architecture & History

ONEOK Field opened in 2010 in Tulsa's Greenwood District, replacing Drillers Stadium. Designed by Populous, it anchors the eastern edge of downtown and connects to the Brady Arts District.

The Drillers name honors Tulsa's oil heritage—the city was once known as the "Oil Capital of the World." ONEOK Field's design includes Art Deco touches that reference Tulsa's distinctive architectural legacy.

Tulsa's Greenwood District holds deep historical significance as the site of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The nearby Greenwood Rising museum provides important context. The ballpark has contributed to the area's revitalization.

Insider Tips

01

The One Thing

Order the Oklahoma onion burger and a Marshall Brewing lager and find a seat facing the Art Deco skyline to the west. The onion burger was invented in Oklahoma during the Depression. The Art Deco towers were built during the 1920s oil boom.

02

Greenwood District

Walk to the Greenwood Cultural Center before the game — 8 blocks north. Black Wall Street was destroyed in the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, one of the worst episodes of racial violence in American history.

03

Art Deco Walking Tour

The Tulsa Art Deco historic district is the most concentrated collection of 1920s oil-boom architecture in the South. The Boston Avenue Methodist Church alone is worth the walk.

04

Parking Reality

ONEOK Field has surface parking throughout the Brady Arts District and garages on 2nd and 3rd Streets. Downtown Tulsa is compact and parking is accessible.

05

Best Value Seat

Third base lower grandstand — Art Deco skyline to the west for the sunset, access to the Burn Co. BBQ stand, and the best evening light in the park.
