Architecture & History
Petco Park opened in 2004 in San Diego's East Village, catalyzing one of the most successful urban redevelopments in American history. The Western Metal Supply Co. building, a 1909 warehouse, was incorporated into the left field corner.
Park at the Park, a grassy hillside beyond center field, offers picnic-style seating with views of the field and downtown skyline.

The One Thing
Get to the Western Metal Supply building's rooftop seats in left field. Stand at the top and look down — the left field foul pole is the corner of a 115-year-old brick building you're standing on.

Stone Brewing's tap room on the Park Blvd level is mandatory. Among the best single-brewery tap programs at any MLB stadium.

Arrive Early
The East Village has become one of San Diego's better dining and bar districts. Arrive an hour early and eat outside the park before entering.

The grass berm beyond center field is a low-cost access option with a genuine view of the game. Popular with families and budget-conscious fans.

Parking Reality
The San Diego Trolley (Blue Line) stops at Park and Market, a 5-minute walk from Petco. From downtown, the Gaslamp Quarter is walkable in 10 minutes.
