WORCESTER RED SOX
Polar Park
The newest AAA ballpark in New England and the most ambitious minor league stadium built in the United States since the pandemic. Polar Park opened in 2021 in Worcester's Canal District with views of downtown, a Green Monster replica in left field, a first-pitch temperature that routinely involves New England spring jackets, and crowds that treat it like a second Fenway.

Architecture & History
Polar Park was designed by Populous and opened May 11, 2021. It replaced the Pawtucket Red Sox's McCoy Stadium. The $160 million park was the most expensive minor league stadium ever built.
The 37-foot left field wall is a deliberate Green Monster reference — not an exact replica but a clearly intentional echo of Fenway Park's defining feature.
The Canal District surrounding Polar Park had been one of Worcester's most underutilised neighbourhoods. The stadium development catalysed significant investment.

Arrive Early
The Canal District is developing quickly. The restaurants and bars surrounding the park are worth arriving an hour early for.
Parking Reality
